Our award-winning loose leaf Hojicha is a roasted, Japanese green tea but unlike other green teas, this one is roasted after production, making it light and rich all at once. The chestnut-brown liquor has hints of honey and caramel, as well as toasty notes of cedar wood. The roasting process also removes much of the caffeine making this is a lovely, rounded cup for after dinner.
Reinfuse up to 3 times.

Feel free to play around with brewing temperature and steeping time, since it seems that it can give more tasting notes. Also enjoyed drinking it during late afternoon.

How to make Hojicha Panna Cotta with Boozy Prunes
2 x 2g leaf gelatine
2 tbsp Good & Proper Hojicha
300ml double cream
115g caster sugar
100ml full-fat milk
1 vanilla pod, deseeded
Vegetable oil, to grease
100g prunes, stones removed
