How to make an Iced Matcha Latte
Our go-to recipe for the drink everyone is talking about - The Iced Matcha Latte.
A smooth, creamy matcha latte made with our new, vibrant House Matcha - made for fast-moving, foodservice environments - crafted to shine in milk. We love it with oat, but make it your own with your favourite dairy or plant-based option.
What you need
*per drink - you can scale up the Matcha concentrate ahead of a day's service as you see fit.
- 3g House Matcha
- 30ml hot water (80°C)
- 6-8g agave
- 150ml oat milk
- Ice
- Bamboo Matcha whisk
Method
Prepare your tea
- Sieve 3g matcha into a wide-sided bowl or chawan
- Add a splash of hot water (80°C)
- Use your bamboo whisk (chasen) to make a smooth paste, ensuring there are no lumps
- Add 30ml hot water (80°C)
- If using, add 6-8g agave
- Whisk using a zig-zag motion to combine into a smooth froth
- Prep your glass with lots of ice
- Add 150ml oat milk
- Pour matcha shot over the top
- Stir to enjoy
