Our good friends from the Kyoto Obubu tea farms and the UK Tea Academy have something just for you – a Japanese Tea Workshop on 11th September.
In recent years Japanese tea has grown in popularity all around the world. Some have tried it, but only a few really know about it. How is Japanese tea produced? What is the current situation of tea in Japan? What is the culture around it? Japanese tea workshop will delve into these and many other questions about Japanese tea. During the workshop you will be also able to taste popular Japanese teas directly from the source. In addition to that you will learn how to brew Japanese tea and will have a chance to make your own Matcha!
The workshop will be led by Matsu-san – a charismatic Japanese tea instructor and vice president of Obubu with more than 14 years of experience in Japanese tea, and Simona – a Japanese tea author and Obubu’s international department manager with 5 years of experience in Japanese tea.
