Good & Proper Tea are delighted to welcome Alice Vincent, otherwise known as Noughticulture, to the Tea Bar to host a Houseplants for Beginners workshop.
Whether you once invested in a family of house plants that are now looking a little brown, disheveled and unloved, or maybe you're thinking of introducing some plants to your living space but not sure where to start - join us for an evening of plant-based conversations and cocktails.
Author of the much-loved book How To Grow Stuff, Alice will plant the seed of excitement for owning and (successfully) caring for your own house plants, before answering any questions, sharing tips on how to bring the most nature and green touches to inner city accommodation, and examining any plants that you currently own which are lacking a little bit of love at home.
Come armed with a plant you'd like some help with, your greenest fingers, and then sit back, relax and let us take care of the rest.
Ticket price includes a G&Tea cocktail on entry, crumpet canapés, plus a plant pack full of inspiration and information to take away with you.
Alice is a writer and self-taught gardener. A journalist for The Telegraph, she's been learning how to grow things for the past five years and along the way has shared her knowledge through her Instagram account, @noughticulture, book, How to Grow Stuff and Noughticulture Talks events. Alice has only ever gardened on balconies in South London, and is a firm believer that small spaces and city living present no barriers to living the good life. From eating freshly cut salads straight from the window box to filling her home with tropical plants, Alice has found growing stuff a source of peace, calm and positivity.
