Introducing #29 Earl Grey
We are delighted to introduce, at long last, the 29th tea to join the Good & Proper Tea collection. Since our first day brewing in the van many years ago, people have asked if we serve Earl Grey and some were surprised, others outright furious, that we didn't. It seems that there is something about this particular tea...Well this year we finally decided to set that straight. Among the first of our flavoured teas, we wanted our Earl Grey to be something we could be proud of - a good and proper tea like the rest. And after many months of tasting, blending and oiling we have finally landed on something wonderfully simple. We can't wait to hear what you think.
#29 Earl Grey
Our long-awaited Earl Grey is formed of a Ceylon black tea base, from the remote Uva region in Sri Lanka, blended with natural Italian bergamot oil. The natural citrus and pine notes of this particular Ceylon, combined with the bergamot, strike a perfect balance between body and aroma - delicately fragrant but with enough of the spicy hit of bergamot to make it a true Earl Grey. The result is a delicious cup of tea for any time of day, taken with or without milk, or even with a slice of lemon.
Price: £6.50 for 90g (30 cups)
